  • HID Global’s EDGE EVO Solo ESH400-K Networked Controller is a cost-effective, stand-alone, IP-enabled access control solution that is designed for sites with one or two doors utilizing traditional door hardware in an outdoor environment.
  • Distributing intelligence right to the door, the solution provides the ability to power all devices around a door using Power over Ethernet (PoE), significantly reducing total door installation costs by eliminating the need to install a separate power supply. It also utilizes less expensive CAT5 wiring compared to traditional structured cable.
  • The ESH400-K is a single door controller with native interfaces to four inputs, two outputs and a single Wiegand reader. The controller is optimized for interoperability with any Wiegand or Clock-and-Data reader (sold separately).
  • The CAT-5 cable is routed to the ESH400-K which is designed to be located near the door in a secure area, and all door components are wired in a star-network like fashion directly to the controller.
  • The ESH400-K is an ideal solution for securing a single door that uses traditional door components. The model meets an organization’s needs of working with any Wiegand reader located either outdoors or indoors.

  • HID Global’s EDGE EVO® Solo ESHR40-L Controller/Reader and Module is a cost-effective, stand-alone, IP -enabled access control solution that is designed for sites with one or two doors in an indoor, non-monitored environment. Distributing intelligence right to the door, the single-door solution provides the ability to power all devices around a door using Power over Ethernet (PoE), significantly reducing total door installation costs by eliminating the need to install a separate power supply. It also utilizes less expensive CAT5 wiring compared to traditional structured cable.
  • The ESHR40-L is a single door controller/reader and module with native interfaces to one NC or NO lock. CAT-5 cable is routed directly to reader/controller located next to the door and an internal four-wire bus then connects the reader with module designed for installation in close proximity (e.g. behind reader in US-single gang box or in hollow door frame). The module connects the reader/controller to the lock. The ESHR40-L is ideal for securing a single non-monitored door located indoors that uses a traditional lock.

  • The V100 Door / Reader Interface connects two access control card readers via Wiegand or Clock-and-Data interface controlling either one or two doors.
  • The V100 features on-board flash memory, allowing program updates to be downloaded via the network. The V100 connects to the V1000 through a high speed RS-485 network.
  • The V1000, in turn, communicates with the system host via industry standard TCP/IP protocol over 10/100 Mbps Ethernet or the Internet. This architecture minimizes the impact on corporate LANs by using only one TCP/IP address for every 32 interfaces and by handling low-level transactions on the RS-485 network.
  • The HID VertX® products provide a complete and fully featured hardware/firmware infrastructure for access control software host systems.
  • The V200 input monitor interface connects up to 16 supervised input circuits. Each input point monitors and reports normal, off-normal, and alarm states.
  • The V200 features on-board flash memory, allowing program updates to be downloaded through the network. The V200 connects to the V1000 via a high speed RS-485 network.
  • The V1000, in turn, communicates with the system host via industry standard TCP/IP protocol, over 10/100 Mbps Ethernet, or the Internet.   • The V300 output control interface contains 12 latching Form-C relays, which can connect up to 12 devices controllable by simple contact closures, such as logic inputs for process equipment, HVAC and elevator control panels, CCTV switchers, etc. Loads exceeding 2 A @ 30 VDC should be controlled via interposing relays.

HID VERTX EVO V1000 Networked Controller
  • The VertX EVO™ V1000 is a networked access controller with a multi-door access control panel. It reduces the burden on corporate Local Area Networks (LANs) by connecting up to 32 door controllers using only one IP address.
  • The high performance platform increases door uptime while the master controller minimizes corporate LAN overhead by providing access control decisions for up to 64 readers.
  • VertX EVO V1000 makes all online door decisions, input monitoring and output control for all connected interface modules, including VertX® V100 (door interface), V200 (input monitor) and V300 (output control).
  • The V1000 has two on-board inputs and outputs for local input point monitoring and auxiliary output control, and is powered by a local power supply (12 or 24 VDC).
  • VertX EVO V2000 is a two-reader access control panel that enables interface with two doors (single reader) or one door (in/out reading).
  • The EVO V2000 handles all online door decisions, door input monitoring and output control and reader interface for up to two doors. The solution has two inputs per door for door monitor and REX, and two outputs per door for lock and AUX.
  • VertX EVO V2000 also includes three inputs for AC power fail, Battery power fail and Tamper, and is powered by a local power supply (12 or 24 VDC).
